Nello specchio d’acqua incorniciato da Castel dell’Ovo, il Vesuvio e il lungomare Caracciolo, si è svolta a Napoli la terza tappa del campionato mondiale di xcat, un lungo weekend che ha attirato numerosissimi spettatori a godersi lo show dei catamarani sulle acque del golfo.
Un unico incidente ha visto come protagonista l’imbarcazione numero 7 del team Dubai, che sabato, durante le prove ufficiali, si è ribaltata in virata, nessuna conseguenza per i due piloti che sono stati accompagnati a terra da uno dei nostri rescue team prontamente intervenuto.
La gara di domenica ha portato sul podio, in ordine di arrivo, il team Fazza, Marine Investimenti Sud e Fendi, ben due imbarcazioni italiane premiate da Diego Armando Maradona davanti ad una via Caracciolo colma di spettatori.
Ora non ci resta che aspettare giugno per la IV tappa del campionato mondiale che si terra ancora una volta in Italia, più precisamente a Stresa dal 20 al 22.

The third step of X-Cat world championship took place on the stretch of water between Castel dell’Ovo, Vesuvio and Lungomare Caracciolo, in Naples (Italy), where a large public had the possibility to see the Catamarans show on the gulf water.
Only an accident has occurred during the weekend with no injuries for the pilots: the boat #7 of Dubai Team has looped during the Saturday trials and the BSA team have brought the pilots on the harbor for a quick check.
Fazza team won the race on Sunday, but for the spectator happiness 2 italian teams has reached the podium, where Diego Armando Maradona has awarded the winners.
Next stage again in Italy on the Maggiore lake in Stresa, from the 20th and the 22nd of June.
